I've been thinking about building one but I'm not entirely sure if it's worth it. The round has lots of power but they are $3 a round. I can reload them but it's still not cheap. Does anyone have one?
That is another reason I like the 35 gunner. More power and cheap to feed.
Anything above 7mm doesn't make much sense in the AR15 and then it gets better with the
35 and 375 calibers that are the two last calibers that make sense in terms of ballistics.
After that ballistics pretty much suck other than 50 caliber for something like a 50 BMG that
is not really small arms.
Very hard to justify anything about the 375 caliber. ballistic performance takes a dive.
Of course you have a hand full of bullets in the 416 caliber but based on the cost, lack of
assortment and exclusivity of cartriges is designed for then it doesn't make sense neither.
In other words, there is nothing that one can do with a larger caliber that cannot be done
with a 35 caliber or 375. The 35 gives even more option due to the 357 and 9mm bullets
available that can be shared.
I mean they are fun and really lots of power but like the beowolf at 50 yards a 200-220gr
35 caliber bullet is already ahead delivering more punch and shooting also flatter and further.
