I think GSB is onto something. Every video I have seen, as craptacular as they are the sound does not seem right for a rifle. I am probably completely wrong though.
The only thing that is problematic is 30 round mag dumps. Glock, probably the most popular version this does not make sense at 33 rounds. Colt and Sten are 32 I believe which are like so 15 years ago.

Eh. The possibilities are endless as far as round count. 4 15 round mags? 2 33 rounders one loaded to 33 and the other 27? 2 33 with 30 each? A 50 round drum and a 10? Who knows. My question when I heard 60 was how do they know this? Did they already do an analysis of all available videos? Did they match the number heard with casings found? Seems pretty early for all that to be known. But as we all know the news loves to prematurely run away with "facts". They could be going off of a witness saying "it sounded like 60 shots" for all we know.

If you've identified an individual who you suspect will commit murder, are you content to just take his guns and leave him running around unsupervised ?
How long before they do "red flag" an actual nut job and not just some guy unhappy with the way his country is getting flushed down the toilet. Then they take his guns, and next week he gets some more illegally and shoots up the place.
Are they going to pat themselves on the back for taking the ones he didn't use ?
Technically I consider this just such a case.
They interviewed him in Sept 2019 and took multiple knives and a sword away from him. that's not really much different than taking away any guns.
Then they left him free to purchase guns, even following their draconian rules, "legally".
So tell me again what the purpose was for these "red flag" laws other than to confiscate law-abiding citizen's guns?
