That is about 2moa which is about what you can expect from the run of the mill FMJ ammo. It should do better with some 69 grain BTHP match ammoI don't off hand, remember what the twist is on that. 1:9 I think. Too lazy to go get it and see.
The Federal .223 ammo I'm putting 6 rds. inside a quarter at 50 yds. I don't know if that is
good or just acceptable.
Depends upon how old you are. If your my age 8 inches if you are my son's age 1 inch. LolWhat size group would consider good offhand at 25 yards?
Well now you were mixing apples and oranges (handgun and rifle) handguns at 25 yards I strive for a fist sized group slow fired from any handgun.38 with good eyesite. I will be hitting the range later and I will be posting a couple reports for site content. I just wanted a baseline to shoot for. You will not be sing 1" groups from me that's for sure
The thing with shooting rifles off hand is muscle fatigue, the heavier the rifle the quicker fatigue sets in.No I meant rifle. I will be taking both. I will s hoot handguns at 7 yards and the rifle at 25. That's all the further the range goes. Rifle is a Daniels Defense M4v11. My marksmanship is poor but I hope everyone enjoys the reports nonetheless. I think I'll bring the 10/22 as well.
