Thirty-five years after it was invented, the 5.7x28mm caliber is now standardized by NATO. The new standardization comes after the 5.56x45mm and 7.62x51mm calibers, which were both designed by FN Herstal, and standardized by NATO in 1957 and 1981 respectively.

I know a guy who used to have one. I do think they’re a little more on the nostalgic side than actually practical. Still cool for a collection.

Oh for sure. Honestly these days with a proper sbr AR you can get about the same kind of work done and the MP7 I think does the P90 role better (the 5.7 may beat out the 4.?)

I have been playing with the 5.7 since 2012. Had a Savage model 25 Rebarreled and chambered for it. My daughter has it now. I still have the reamer, I may build another one.

I've shot a five seven. It was pretty mild recoil wise. I liked the grip angle better than glock.
