I've been telling as many people as are willing to listen that by the end of the 3rd Cuomo term all NYS firearms owners will be able to own will be:

* Handguns on an approved roster
* Bolt action rifles
* Pump/Over-Under/Side by Side Shotguns

Kiss your "tactical" (aka sniper style) rifles, semi-auto rifles, semi-auto shotguns (except those deemed appropriate for sporting usages like hunting and clay shooting sports), and handguns that aren't "micro stamp law" compliant.

…and you'll have the NYS FUDD to thank. They've been working WITH NYS Government to secure the ability to own what THEY feel should be owned and to ban and confiscate what they deem "unworthy and unnecessary" to own.
