60 minutes Climate change's role in Australia's fires

I stumbled on 60 minutes tonight and found a story about How Australia's fire were due to climate change.


I thought that was a pretty odd story , when the Australians have arrested over 75 people for setting brush fires this year. , Im pretty sure that would have an effect on the dozens of brush fires .

I read an article couple weeks ago that said the tree huggers,climate activists and such pushed for and got legislation to ban cutting fire breaks about 5 yrs ago.You couldnt even cut a fire break on your own land,one landowner got fined something like 50 grand for doing it.His house was the only one saved in some area that got wiped out.

They're betting a large percentage of their viewers won't look any further into this.
60 minutes used to actually to some investigating and honest reporting, many of our older citizens still see it that way. They still trust much of what the MSM tells them.

I've experienced this personally with my parents, both in their 80's, they watch the local and nightly news every day. I try explaining the bias and role they are playing with the crap stories and one sidedness to them but convincing them has been, well let's just say a bit frustrating.
They don't do the internet, just TV and newspapers so getting a different angle of a news story to them isn't easy. I asked my dad when was the last time he seen something positive reported about our current administration, he couldn't, and this is their MO.
I went on and asked about some of the big headlines we see posted here and he no idea the crap going on in Washington, just the way they want it.
Now my parents can't be the only ones in this boat, I'll bet it's very widespread and it's not by accident, YMMV.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if they were the ones behind these fires. To demonstrate their point on how bad climate change is .

I figure them or the Muzzis , to many, to often , to far apart to be acts of a few nut cases.

Everything has an impact.
- The brush and lack of proper forest and land management
-The climate getting warmer with longer droughts
-Population density everywhere including thugs starting fires all over.
etc...

But the planet itself is fine. We represent a minuscule part of the long cosmic history of the planet but
for sure we are not making things better for the little time we have on this rock.

If an advanced alien civilization are watching they are probably going, wtf is wrong with these humans.

And the people starting the fires had an impact too. The point being, 60 minutes is not being honest. In fact they are intentionally misleading millions of people. And they certainly are not doing this out of stupidity. You could never get a job in the field if your research was so poor.
