I picked up another new Smith 642 sure right today, $349 & tax, new, and got the freaking delay on the nics today with my unique pin number.
Pissed me off, I like taking my gun home right then & there.

I have a 22 - 250 Remington 700 on lay away at a pawn shop, I will be picking that up in a couple of weeks.

I had to edit the post, miss spelling. Thats what happens with to many buds.

I carry a 642 allday/everyday for the last seven years. Just want a new one just in case this one has a boating accident.

If the sp101 is considered a j frame I must have six or so j frames.

The sp101 revolvers are three inch in 9mm and 327 federal magnum.

I also have five or so darringers.

Being delayed really sucks with the upin, some of the gun stores are lose to a hundred miles away, that's why I got the up in.

I know there is a guy in the south-western part of Washington State that has the same name and birth date as me. He must have some kind of criminal back ground.

They opened a new Coastal Farm Store and had the grand opening yesterday, the guy I work for liked my bbqb642 and Coastal had them on sale for $349 so he met me there . He bought one and I bought one. He never bought a gun before.

The Smith & Wesson rep came over talked for a little bit and gave us a s&W coffee cup and a Smith pen.
I must have 3 maybe four new handguns under my reloading bench still in the original containers,never hand a bullet in them.
A year or so ago I bought a Ruger Single-seven,
Single action revolver in 327 federal magnum to go along with the other 327 federal magnum revolvers I have. Still in the box.

I am going to write a letter to the FUN and see what they have to say about being delayed with their up n number.
They will not talk to you about it over the phone.

I stopped by Costal farm store to pick up the 642 and they were usy and I didn't have the time to wait.
I,'ll go there tomorrow and pick it up.

I did go get my finger prints done for my new C & R permit.
Tomorrow I will get it out in the mail.

All it takes is a random number generator, and if you are the lucky one, welcome to the administrative delay department. Piss off as many law abiding citizens as they can, to try to discourage sales. Us dedicated gun types generally ignore it, but it might rattle some of the first time buyers.

Haven't fired it! I would go nuts lol I love mine, it's my in house carry usually also because it's small and unobtrusive.

I have several guns that I bought and never fired.

I have a Number Pro Team Match 1911 that I bought new 17 maybe 18 years ago, Still new in the box.
After I bought that gun I bought a Colt Combat Commander stainless frame & slide 1911 slightly use to usr as a carry gun.

Now my every day carry is my old 642.
If I am going to town of somewhere I have never been I will take a bigger gun as my primary weapon and the 642 switchs to my BUG.

I have enough handguns that I could carry a different one every day for a month & a half.

I have the 360 scandium. I like it but at 11 or so ounces it’s almost too light to shoot the hot stuff with.

Yeah the damn thing made my hand bleed! I'm going with buffalo bore full wad cutters (standard pressure).

I bought a old Remington XP100 IN 7MM BR. When shooting that you don't want your bugger hook to far in the trigger guard. Just enough to pull the trigger.

I use Hornady critical defence ammo in my 642.

C3D is right, I have a 442 that feels perfect in my hand. I love that gun.
