From what I have heard this was very successful in my area. The other local Club (Hudson Falls Fish & Game ) that hosted a few schools and approached my Club about hosting. Held a end of seaon match that saw 135 shooters compete! We did host one local school with another looking to join in next season.

I hope some of the local Chautauqua Co schools join in. We have ALOT of Trap clubs around here to host.

Some 5 gallon buckets would sure be nice for that. Our club is home field for the Gowanda Trap Team. From what I understand they did very well last year and interest is growing, which is nice to see. The school of course wants nothing to do with it. Our club seems to be pretty big on trap and added another field last year bringing us to 4 total. We started holding ATA events and theres some big trap event this Saturday, although I honestly can't remember what it is.

This is a great program - but there is / or was, legislation proposed in NY state to PROHIBIT ANY FIREARMS RELATED SPORTS, INCLUDING ARCHEY, -FROM TAKING PLACE IN ANY NY SCHOOL DISTRICTS. -- I'm not sure if this has been voted on, - any of you guys have any knowledge about that legislation?

Heard about the one in Dundee last year. My ex is moving back to the area for next school year. I’ll have to talk to a few people and see if my son can get involved.

from the displacement of hulls from station 5 ?? or is it 6 .. ( i dont shoot trap ) .. looks like a few were shooting a Mini14 Shotgun LOL ..

Some clubs, depending on their rules, consider ALL hulls that hit the ground to be their property. A dedicated trap or skeet shooter will generally keep his hulls for reloading.
