A robber was shot to death by an elderly woman during a home invasion. Proscuators say the woman was handcuffed to a chair and managed to get a gun.

When Condon went downstairs again at some point, Jenneiahn dragged the chair she was handcuffed to into her bedroom and got her .357 Magnum revolver, which was under her pillow.

She then went back into the living room and “hid the revolver” between the armrest and cushion of a couch next to where she was sitting while she waited to see what Condon did next, the review detailed.

She was 85 and couldnt even remember when she got clocked in the head or when she shot him. Her delay in ending the threat seems reasonable to me.

Doesn't matter how old you are.

The time to shoot the intruder is well *before* they have clocked you in the head and handcuffed you to a chair.

While I agree with that but, she didnt get to the gun til after she was cuffed to the chair. An 85 yr old has much slower reaction time to anything and I assume that slows down even more when you get woken up and clocked in the head.

She waited for opportunity. And I'd say her timing was just about right, especially for an 85 year old woman. It says the old gal was asleep in her bedroom, woke up to a gun pointed at her, and possibly struck in the head. She was removed from her bedroom and handcuffed to a chair in her living room. Perp left the livingroom to look for stuff to steal, and while he's gone from the room she dragged the chair she was cuffed to into her bedroom where her 357 was located under her pillow. She grabbed the gun then dragged the chair back into the livingroom. Perp shows back up in the livingroom, and BANG... she shot the fucker. I think she did good.

Just think... if that went down in NYS there might be an 85 year old woman sitting in the slam waiting for her trial.
