The escorts were great little cars. I had one I used for commuting purposes, got high thirties in mileage (and sometimes broke 40). I had a 5 speed wagon, just throw crap in the back and go on your way. Great in the snow, especially with snow's on it.

I had to get rid of mine because the frame was pretty rusted out, even though the rest of the body looked great. If Ford still offered them at the time I got rid of it, I would have gotten another.

If someone here buys your brother's car, I have some Nokia snow's with great tread that I will give them (assuming they make arrangements to come get them). They are just sitting in my garage getting in the way.

Yeah can't beat the gas mileage on them I drive a suburban so mileage is the least of my worry's but I know it's reliable !
He changes vehicles on a regular basis sure it drives his insurance agent nut's :screwy:
