MG Guns in Bradford, Pennsylvania had cases of 9mm and other popular cartridges when I was in there 2 days ago. I didn't really pay attention to the price, but a phone call would get you that. He will even hold it for you if you pay with a credit card on the phone and then pick it up later. From Buffalo, Bradford is +/- 80 miles straight down rt 219.

I just checked them out since you recommended them to some one else and they wanted $240 for 500 rounds steel cased wolf on gun broker. Im sure they charge shipping.
Prices are insane right now and lowest I’ve seen is $0.50-$0.60 for 9mm. Sad times. I will likely just buy some self defense rounds because they aren’t much more expensive.

If history and past ammo shortages have taught us anything it’s that ;
1. Stacking an adequate supply of ammo is a long process of purchasing over an extended period of time, while supplies are readily available and prices are good.
2. Looking for ammunition right now will be time consuming, expensive, and feeding into the frenzy.
3. If you have to have it right now, your going to have to pay the piper’s price or get good at dry fire practice.
in a nutshell your pretty much shit out of luck for the foreseeable future till thing normalize again. Or you can pony up that 40 cents a round, because ain’t nobody gonna part with their ammo for pre panic price right now.

Once again people fail to understand the basic economic principle of supply and demand. Unfortunately we'll be facing these prices for quite some time. If Trump wins the riots will continue. If Biden wins there will be an even greater rush to purchase before any new laws are passed. The situation sucks.
I find it funny though, that regular ammo, like 9mm has transversed into my niche market .357Sig prices I am paying all the time. I'm ok with it mind you. Thing that sucks is I had a few placed to buy that round at fairly good prices but they're all fucked right now... So all I'll say is welcome to my world, hahahaha!
I usually shot around 200-300 rounds typical outing. But haven't shot at all this year, especially now.
Unfortunately, any muscle memory skill is one that requires exercise. Like the old saying used for studying Martial Arts...
Training in Martial Arts is like pushing a cart up a hill, if you stop, it's only natural to slide backwards!
Same applies for shooting IMO. I'm sure those laser dry fire systems are selling like hot cakes too now, lol.
Anyways, you gotta pay to play, that's the bottom line! Suck it up and buy some overpriced ammo if you don't have a stockpile to use, because it is what it is... Looking for unicorns and or thinking somehow or another you've got the answer that 1,000 before you overlooked is just, well... A bit silly (to be nice)

On the plus side, there is more incentive for new manufacturers to throw their hat in the ring.
I find it amazing that people ask "Where can I get X ?" and then when you tell them where they can get just what they say they want, they get picky about price or brand. Had they bought whatever they now determine that they need when there wasn't a high demand for it, they could afford to be picky. If you lived in Florida and went into Home Depot as the rains of a giant hurricane were beginning to hit, would you piss and moan that the plywood and screw selection was very low and that the plywood was $ 100 a sheet instead of $ 30 ? You probably would. Had you bought it at $ 30 and put it in your garage, you wouldn't have that problem. Your "Ant and Grasshopper" moment was many months ago. Either pay for what you want, or go without.
OP: For your information, MG Guns in Bradford had ammunition from Wolf, Red Army, Barnaul, and Tulammo by the case. They're a pleasant 2 hour drive from Buffalo.
