They get hauled off to jail at the taxpayer's expense and they now have a criminal record so they can't keep or buy more guns.

That is the plan. Same with the unSAFE act...

You become a dangerous criminal without even knowing it. That simple.

I didn't read the link, someone fill me in, what's the correlation between a hunting license and owning a centerfire semi auto? I mean yea, great, the ruling was kind of in the favor of the 2nd amendment but we have to get away from linking gun rights with hunting

My guess is linking Hunting to gun ownership prevents Right to carry.

I thought this was a good thing for gun rights.

After about 7 seconds of consideration I have changed my opinion and already think it's falling into the false narrative the left is working tirelessly to create, that owning guns is linked to hunting and you need permission to own a common rifle even though you are presumably a legal lawful adult who is treated as an adult and entrusted to use their mental acuities for things like voting and legally binding documents. But they are only entrusted with the 2nd amendment if they intend to hunt.



This is a bad precedent.
