For years, back when CNY had 3 tv stations, I was trying to get the "news" to contact the NRA for the Eddie Eagle information that the "news" could start teaching gun safety by using Subliminal techniques. When crime was being reported show the gun safety rules etc.
They basically and actually (channel 9) told be to "go fuck off and kill someone".
