Well, I am glad to see an establishment politician ousted by an up-and-comer, only problem is she's even further left than he is. Part of me thinks it will have to get worse before it gets better. I'm thankful we have Trump and part of me hopes that he can turn things around, but even if he gets two terms he's not going to undo the past 50 years of a leftist agenda.

As for this Cynthia Nixon lunatic, I hope she beats Cuomo (to death would be cool)just because I despise him more than any other politician. And yeah she would certainly make things worse for New Yorkers, but again maybe that's what it's going to take to wake up more of the fudds and finally get them to do something.

The only way he'd turn things around is to become involved in them.
When was the last time he even commented about how corrupt and tyrannical the New York Legislature, and especially the Governor, is?

but what can be done now? The Tyrant seems to own every lawful outlet we would use to end his corruption. If Nixon gets into the governor's office she'll have those resources to further oppress the People.

In every battle there is going to be casualties. NYS is the sacrificial lamb for the RNC nationwide. If Nixon beats monkeyface it proves that monkeyface couldn't even win in his blue home state. How could he win a national election for POTUS?

A loss in NYS for monkeyface would derail his WH ambitions and save the entire country from his tyrannical control.

It would suck for us to have Nixon in Albany, but it would still leave the door open for us to exit to another free state. If monkeyface were in the WH those other states might not be as attractive anymore.

In regards to Trump, I was talking more about on a federal level not NY.

and as for Nixon, yes she could really put a hurting on us to some extent (although it will be even more important to keep the NY Senate). Astorino could have beat cumhole if the fudds got off their asses and supported a 2a agenda. So, if she were to swing things further left, perhaps it would motivate the fudds to actually get off the couch to vote for someone more Constitutionally minded.

They've responded to Trump's victory by going further left. That's good for the country as a whole, because they're making themselves too radical to catch center votes. Unfortunately for blue bastions such as CA and NY, those far left candidates can and will draw enough support to win. It will get quickly worse for us here in NY. As long as there are still enough sane Americans the country as a whole will shift to the right.

I sincerely hope cuomo's ass is puckering up in fear as a result of the election results. I am hoping he begins to think it could happen to him to. The best bet would be a brutal internal fight between him and nixon that allows a republican to win. I know it's a fantasy but I can hope, can't I?

Yeah, I heard that not only did he not show up to the debate but he send someone else in his stead. I mean, seriously, bro? Do you even want the job? I've read a bit about the campaign too and she clearly ran a better one (getting her name out, texting people the day of the election with their polling place locations, etc.). I'll give her credit for that.

Trump ( and conservatives in general) biggest enemy right now, is APATHY. If The middle class, 2A, and conservatives in general DON'T GET TO THE POLL's in November the Trump administration is toast. He will not be able to get anything done, including getting another Constitutional conservative on the SCOTUS.

This "Cortez" victory should wake up every American. If the Congress becomes 'like Cortez' this nation will be a socialist shit hole by 2030
