Biden Sends $8 Billion of COVID Recovery Relief as Payments to Offset Outcome of His Energy Policy for Democrat Constituents - The Last Refuge

The pain we are feeling from the collective weight of these policies are not hitting the constituents the Democrats need in order to keep them in office.

Many people have wondered how the Biden administration could implement massive economic policies against the interests of their own constituents. The answer to that question is hidden inside the COVID relief bills, which are used as a method to pay the expenses of his policies so that targeted Democrat groups in urban regions do not have to pay for the policy.

One example of this policy and urban dependency scheme is found in the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).

The “American Rescue Plan”, the mechanism to use taxpayer monies as redistributive subsidies to special interests under the guise of COVID bailouts and relief, contained $8 billion in funding to pay for the electricity and home heating costs of low income families.

In essence, what this scheme allows is the Biden administration to trigger ‘Green New Deal‘ energy policies that drive massive increases in the cost of electricity, home heating, and energy use for the middle class and working class families, and yet the federal government pays those costs for the constituents they need to keep voting for them. Lower income families do not feel the energy policy burden, but middle class families are punished.

The extra food stamp benefits will be available to recipients in the state of Virginia after the state's Department of Social Services announced that they will be releasing emergency funds to eligible families in January.
On Wednesday, the department said the benefits will automatically be loaded to recipients’ Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards on Sunday, January 16.

However, the emergency benefits will only be available to current Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) households and do not apply to Pandemic EBT recipients.

California Receives $62,000,000 From U.S. Treasury For Rent Relief​

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) today announced it has received an additional $62 million from the U.S. Department of Treasury to continue the state’s successful implementation of the CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Program.

“While we are grateful for the infusion of additional federal resources from the U.S. Treasury, California will need significantly more funding from future federal reallocations in order to continue to meet the needs of low-income California renters impacted by COVID-19,” said Business, Consumer Services and Housing Agency Secretary Lourdes Castro Ramírez. “The state is doing its part and prioritizing the most vulnerable renters, and we will continue to work closely with our partners at the U.S. Treasury to advocate for equitable reallocations in subsequent rounds of funding, specifically through a needs-based approach, in order to help those most at risk of eviction and homelessness stay housed.”

I'm going to beat the dead horse, but Biden is merely a co-owner of where we are. He took office in January of '21. Where were all the complaints about overpaying people last year, from insane unemployment benefits, to ridiculous stimulus payments (more often than not to people who had suffered no economic hardship at all), to eviction moratoriums and much more beyond this? I saw people here complaining about unemployment benefits because those didn't impact them, but what about stimmies? Most here happy to receive that money. Extra money added to the economy causes dislocations.

For a person in the middle class who is still employed they are negatively impacted economically by rising interest rates and/or inflation. Homes and cars were already upheaving under Trump. Biden has simply exacerbated it.
