Hows Thailand?
Unless you are building it into a pistol (in the PRNY) you can leave it blank. If building a pistol in NY you must put a serial number on it to put it on your license.Question, once assembling this lower on your firearm it is perfectly legal to leave it blank correct? Meaning no serial numbers or anything? Correct me if I am wrong and next question you don’t need an FFL when purchasing a stripped lower because I am in the process of purchasing one but they’re asking for my FFL to ship it to.
Yep the bill to require serial numbers on 80% receivers has no yet made it into law.80 percent lowers do not need to be serialized, but you cannot build it with the intent to sell it. A stripped receiver needs to go through an FFL, it is considered a firearm and you need a bg check- if i am wrong someone will be by shortly to call me out.
