I have mixed feelings on this. It’s hard not to say something because the laws change so fast and are so stupid some don’t know what’s legal anymore. If he posts this and broke the law if we didn’t say something and the authorities show up what then, he admits to a crime. That’s not good either. Yes he should know the law but many don’t.

Oh good grief. For all we know he followed the law, had it transferred, and put on whatever b.s. permit scheme nyc has. I doubt it's a bolt action rifle either, but maybe he's being purposely vague.

It seems a little hypocritical to get in someone's business to stay out of someone else's business. But okay, if that's how it's viewed.

If we can't give another member heads-up advice that they may be jamming themself up by sharing certain info (especially when they are new and just may not know better), I'm not sure what the point is to this community.

Blue-sky assumptions or just not giving a shit is not the lead I wish to follow. Why anyone would take issue with one member warning another is beyond me, especially knowing that this site is monitored. Obviously they view this from a different angle, but I don't get it.
