Finally a politician with the intellect and integrity to speak plainly to his fellow legislators about gun control. The man is Nick Freitas of Virginia. Wish he was in NY.
As I listened to his speech I thought it was straightforward and honest. Yet apparently democratic members were triggered by it and walked out trembling. I think most of that is grandstanding - but not all of it. I think there are snowflake members of the legislature who actually think reasonable words on gun control are beyond the pale.
