My children , ages 14 & 10 are not vaccinated and are not going to be. So far, it’s not mandated for school, and I say that loosely. Anyways, I did consent for them to be tested , (not sure of the frequency). If it helps persuade them to not mandate the jab then I’m okay with the testing. Long story short, my son has to quarantine for a week now as he was in close proximity to someone who has COVID. Now , I don’t claim to be be the smartest person on this planet, but this seems to be the perfect time to fucking test him before sending him home for the week?!?? JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. A friend of mine, his wife drives school bus.
Their daughter rides (her mother’s) his wife’s bus. This is a family where the parents are married and thier kids live with them.
One of the other kids on the bus allegedly tested positive for covid.
Their daughter got quarantined from school (by the district) for 10 days, but her custodial, live-in mother (the bus driver) did not.

The dates are 11/01/21-11/07/21 at Midnight.
Quarantine is the practice of limiting movement of a person who is potentially exposed to an infectious disease for period of time to limit the potential for spread of the disease in the community.
What does this mean?
• The individual should not have face to face contact with family members closer than 6 feet for a 10 -day period. The individual should avoid activities such as gathering with other members of the family, eating meals or watching TV together as best as possible due the age of the individual exposed. No activities with anyone outside of the home during the quarantine.
• The individual should be closely monitored for symptoms such as a temperature above 100.5, cough, or other signs of feeling unwell. If such signs and symptoms occur, they should immediately contact their primary care provider and the Rensselaer County DOH for guidance (518-270-2655).
• Other individuals residing in the home are not quarantined and can go about their daily business as usual unless the identified individual becomes symptomatic.

Not sure what we would do besides finding a private school that doesnt require it, moving, or home schooling, etc... Im hoping enough parents would raise enough hell to pit a stop to it, but hope isnt a plan.
I know that at this stage of the game we are not going to use this vaccine on our kids. Not enough testing or data on it yet for us to be comfortable.

This is the answer, for a lot of reasons. You cannot expect our government to raise children to be free thinkers on dime they steal from us. It won't happen.
It won't be easy. It will have to be a mesh of professionals passing on skills / their knowledge of subjects, and private teachers that are vetted / share our beliefs. It will cost a LOT of time to do properly, and some money as well (but probably not as much as you'd imagine thanks to the free market.)
I say it's a trade off we have to make as a society. There's a lot of ways forward I'm unsure about, but that part seems pretty clear to me.

CVPH (Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital) is in Plattsburgh - I'll make an educated guess that this is where she's going since it's much larger than AMC-Saranac. It's also very good. But it's a college town - SUNY Plattsburgh - so it's got a large number of libtards. Plattsburgh is not in the ADK park.

Just spoke with the school nurse because according to our school district, fully vaccinated students do not have to quarantine, only unvaccinated when exposed. Apparently there are about 7 other kids that were exposed but do not have to quarantine . So I had to hear the reasoning behind that and maybe I’ll learn something. So after a long awkward silence, it was about the unvaccinated being symptomatic and the vaccinated being asymptomatic . I said wouldn’t it be safer if the student who has it and is not showing symptoms be out of school, instead of unknowingly passing it on to others? And let’s just just say her answer does not justify me explaining it here but I did come to the realization, again, that stupidity and gullibility is the real fucking contagion
