Spend 2 minutes and watch this. This is in Philadelphia (Juanita Park/Frankford, in the Northeast).
and we need more illegal aliens because we don't have enough homeless people.
Mikey Bloomturd spend nearly $900 MILLIONS dollars in 4 months to become POTUS, imagine what he could have done for homeless veterans with that much money
last time I checked pot doesn't make you slump over or lose touch with gravityEvery one of them wasted on drugs.... yet some want them legal even.

All true, but the main cause is they watch ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and do not know they are being lied to nightly. This is not important to most Americans.
They are not aware this is occurring.
They do not care because it does not affect them.
They don't care because they believe this stuff to be lies.
seemed like you were equating recently legalized marijuana with the junkies in the videoand...... ??

Yep, because a world with junkies high on legal drugs is better than a world with massive criminal enterprises supplying the junkies, who are *still* high on even worse drugs.Every one of them wasted on drugs.... yet some want them legal even.

Did we learn *nothing* from prohibition ?
Remind me again how much lower the incidence of drug abuse is because of the "war" on it ?If only.....
Apparently prohibition did lower alcohol consumption.Remind me again how much lower the incidence of drug abuse is because of the "war" on it ?
How many fewer drunks were there during prohibition ?
I will agree wholeheartedly that drug abuse is terrible and that addicts are a major problem for modern society.
But, you know what are even bigger problems ?
The rise of massive organized crime to supply those junkies and the loss of civil liberties in the name of fighting that unwinnable war.
Like the covid lockdowns, it is an unconstitutional naked power grab by government, and it is far worse than the disease it purports to fight.
Consumption != abuse.Apparently prohibition did lower alcohol consumption.
Prohibition worked better than you think
America’s anti-alcohol experiment cut down on drinking and drinking-related deaths — and it may have reduced crime and violence overall.www.google.com
In other areas like smoking there is a strong effect on its consumption as prices increase.
No ideaConsumption != abuse.
Sure, casual drinking went down as it became harder to source. But actual addicts will pay any price for their fix.
Did it reduce the instances of alcoholism ?
Might have lowered consumption, but man O man didn't create a black market and give to rise to gangsters like Capone et al.Apparently prohibition did lower alcohol consumption.

You can be poor as dirt and still have pride and self respect.Over 10 years in East Africa and no part of Nairobi or Addis Ababa ever looked like that. Almost all trash was either burned or was re-purposed to whatever could be created. People in the fUSA would be amazed at what local artisans could make of stuff Americans send to the landfill.
There are people in Kenya called jua kali workers - in Swahili jua kali means blazing, fierce or burning sun because they work totally outside. Some are true artisans and skilled at many things. Once saw a jua kali tire repairman replace a tube on a Toyota Land Cruiser split rim that had 12-ply Firestone Translug tires - with nothing but hand tools, under a tree - and then inflate it with a foot pump.
Been in remote villages in both Kenya and Ethiopia. Spent time in many places, with African friends, where most white expats never went - for example the slums of Kibera, Mathare Valley and Kawangware in Nairobi - yes, there was running sewage, but there were no public services to be had or offered.
But, I've been in homes there made from scrap lumber and scrounged metal. And yet, the dirt floors were swept clean, there was no feces in the home and the children were as clean as conditions would allow.
I've seen gorgeous African women and well turned African men exit their hovels near these slums to catch a bus - well dressed as they could be to go work at whatever job they could get.
Most African people have pride - their living conditions were nothing anyone in this country would accept, and yet they still would keep things as clean and tidy as they could.
The fUSA has become Desolation Row.
I'm glad I'm old...so very, very glad.
