Two years ago Billionaire Tom Golisano pledged $25 MILLION for a Performing arts center on what is known in Rochester as "Parcel 5"
Golisano pulled all his funding because the city has been screwing around doing nothing, other than bickering, over the location of the Performing Arts Center for two years and Galisano has had enough
Now the city decided they want to put the Center next to the river at the old Riverside Hotel and the scope of the project has increased, substantially.
This is what happens when you screw around and don't make a decision on how to move forward, you lose your funding.
Arnie Rothchild seems to think the state will step up and fill the void, LOL. I'll be surprised if the state helps, seeing as Cuomo couldn't care less about western NY
