I still have the Marlin 989 M2 my dad gave me when I was I think 16? I found 10rd mags for it so I can use it as a Appleseed loaner, And I shoot it in CMP rimfire sporter matches.
My oldest guns are from the early twenties I guess and there are three of them. Two old Stevens Crackshot 22 rifles and an old Remington 22 bolt action single-shot 22 from the same time period.
I have a 1942 Winchester 62A 22 pump that I shoot a lot.
I have a few old Iver Johnson single-shot shotguns that are old as well, a 12 gauge, a 20 gauge, a 28 gauge and a couple of 410s.
And then my Springfield M1 Garand.
I haven't checked what year this was made in.
1943 M-1 Garand
1943 M-1 Carbine
1943 Enfield
1956 SKS
2 years later, I came along (so did my Remington 11-48).
I had a cutlass pistol I got from my father-in-law made in 1831, but I sold it. It was so rusty and beyond repair, I had no use for it. I managed to get $1200 for it at the Syracuse gun show...
