Thats anecdotal.
Even before Covid he was NOT popular outside NYS. Between the Moorland Commission, Buffalo Billions....he was the laughing stock of governors.
Last year when he put his feelers out for a possible POTUS run, he was getting numbers around 4% nationwide.....while in NYS his approval rating was in the 70% area.
I belong to several other forums. Literally everyone makes fun of Cuomo when I say im from NYS......everyone. Also anecdotal but dozens of people. Plus all the youtube videos of people hating on him nationwide.
Two or three years ago Texas governor Greg Abbott said that Cuomo was the "most crooked politician in American history......period."
