Active shooter at mall in Washington State - 4 dead

Four people are dead following a shooting Friday night at a shopping mall about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington State Patrol said.

The shooting occurred at Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington.

"4 confirmed deceased in the mall, shooter(s) left scene b4 police arrived, unknown # of shooter, possibly just 1, police clearing mall now," Sgt. Mark Francis, a public information officers with Washington State Patrol tweeted.

Now of course the media is going to make a frenzy out of this shooting. Why, because there was no armed off-duty officer and four innocent lives are wasted.

Let's bash the firearm again and not the shooter that should've been taken out by an armed citizen.

They should start suing the states, malls, theaters, stores, markets and anyone who doesn't have secured perimeters with armed security in place or allow and promote defensive carry.

Where are the rallies, the outrage, the protests of the gun owners? Where is the All Lives Matter movement? Probably ranting online, this we know how to do well.

The NRA, NYRPA and others alike are also guilty of this passive attitude.

Not so here. Multiple women on Facebook accused him of grabbing women and one even calling him a pervert against women who should ‘rot in hell’.

Now we cannot know if those allegations are true, it’s clear that they hold no fond memories of this guy.

Yes, the news reports claim: He was a legal resident, do not say citizen. The firearms were legally owned by his father - possibly a step-father - of the murderer. He stole them.

Cetin was involved in a number of cases in recent years, according to the Washington court database.

Cetin has faced three assault charges related to domestic violence, the Seattle Times reported. They involved his father.

A judge told Cetin Dec. 29 he could not possess a firearm, the Times reported. His stepfather convinced the judge not to include a no-contact order because Cetin was "going through a hard time."

Cetin also has an arrest on a drunken driving charge, the Times reported.

If you mean involve as in use my cc to intervene? I would, I would think it's my duty as a cc citizen to intervene. Get him to focus on me long enough for others to get away. Even if I wasn't a crack shot and couldn't hit him, I'd like to think it'd shift the violence away from innocents, or maybe even distract him long enough for others to tackle him from behind. Maybe.

Possibly a fantasy, but yeah, I would.
