What kind of a message would you expect to see from a major political party the day after a shooting takes place at a Pittsburgh synagogue leaving 11 people dead?
If you are The Democrats, it is apparently a perfect opportunity to ask for votes and condemn the use of guns.

If/when dems have control again they will pass laws that allow guns to be taken if you post things online or social media that someone thinks is hateful.
We will have the social media secret thought police out in full force.

If the Dems get full control after the midterms I bet registering all long guns will be on Cuomo's list, with some sort of cross check if you try to buy ammo for a caliber you don't have registered. How many places now wont sell you ammo for your PCC if you don't have a PP....

That's a question that's important to us at the Liberal Gun Club. We tell the Dems to stop focusing on banning guns and instead do something to address the *causes* of violence. We need to find out what makes people commit violent acts and learn how to intervene before things go too far. Like for school shootings, one of the common factors is that the shooters were often bullied for being different in some way. We can't stop that entirely, because that would require changing human nature, but we could have schools do more to intervene and punish the bullies and try to get them to lay off. I don't know what the actual solutions need to be, but we just can't rely on punishment after the fact to be a deterrent.
We will never rid the world of hate and evil. It has always existed and always will. Shame.

Man I don't remember the last time I went to Friday night service. I "became" an atheist shortly after my Bar Mitzvah. My mom was / is pretty into the community. she was the president of the temple, since then both the temple (reformed) and the synagogue (conservative) have joined together under one building.
But last July my cousins oldest son had his Bar Mitzvah out in Syracuse, best believe I was carrying (I just found out thanks to one of her FB posts yesterday, that their synagogue does have an armed security guard) it was my P-07 with RMR and tucked under a button down, not the fastest but it was descrete and I would have no problem ripping the shirt up.
Her next son just had his Bar Mitzvah 3 weeks ago, and sadly both my girlfriend and I had to work so we had to miss it (she was actually super disappointed a out that, the other Bar Mitzvah was her first experience ever with a Jewish service and was excited about seeing the next one)
But again if we were able to have gone, I would have again been carrying

FFS, can't believe that guy was licensed to own and carry. Based on his actions and heavy Jewish hatred, looks like he's a follower of another religion of hate.
