If the NRA is found to be corrupt do i get to say i told you so ... wouldn't mind a refund either.
Hmm.
What's the nature of this proceeding? I've only seen a little bit about it. I've seen it described as an interview and also a deposition. Either way seems like it will be under oath.
Seems the AG's office has offered to have an assistant AG be the one to step in and stop questioning if they get into privileged territory.
Strikes me as... conflicted. It's not the AG's privilege to assert. Nor is it North's non-NRA counsel's privilege to assert. And North himself can't waive NRA's privilege since it's also not his to assert (under limited circumstances, it might be).
I dont like any of the parties in this, really, but I like due process and orderly procedure of law- and transparency. More opacity and bluster out of both Albany and NRA. Hooray.
