Just imagine if this were the 22nd state to pass handgun laws similar to NYS...that should put it into perspective for any critics.

Besides denying a person's constitutional rights or making it difficult for them, it really does just come down to the money.

For what it's worth I've (surprisingly) heard a lot of good about north Alabama around the Huntsville area. It's actually supposed to be a genuine good place to live. Major Nasa operations there, a Huge military depot, lots of defense contractors and high tech workers. It's supposed to even have good public schools in the area. It has a lot of interesting things going on with it. So much so that im trying to learn more of what's going on there. It might be worth additional consideration as a potential relocation area. Clearly AL is deep red that state won't be turning blue but might even have a very strong job market and low taxes to go with it.
