Well, who knows how much longer gun shows will exist in NYS. Anybody going (Jan. 26/27) ? Not really sure what I need, but I usually find SOMETHING.

I’ll be traveling for work on the 26th but I was thinking about trying out a smaller one on the 18th. Has anyone have any info on if this show is any good?
Since we lost the Saratoga Show I may take a ride down, I haven't been in a few years. Probably Sunday as I will be giving the new member orientation at my Club on Sat.

I have never been to this show, same promoter that did the Saratoga Show all these years. May check it out! I certainly don't need anything, but I've said that before LOL!!

i heard they cant sell AR's there just parts .. well the local place here will be there selling parts .. buy a lower and get the upper free LOL .. they might be kicked out by noon LOL .. but it rubbing it in FUAC FACE that counts ..

I went just for the sake of going,more of the same old thing,a lot less people there than usual,not as many vendors either.
There were a few guys selling AR uppers and stripped lowers and one selling taken apart guns,likley the one mentioned above.

AR's have been banned in the City limits since before the Safe-Act, That is why all the LGS are in Colonie outside the City limits.

I went and looked around, it was good enough. No guns (in my price range) that I couldn’t live without. I bought a heavy duty hanger, some targets, and a surplus army med kit.

Do you know the name of the vendor that you bought targets from.......they were colored paper ones? I forgot to go back until we were on the road. I wanted to see if they have a online site I could order some from. They had a unique ''torso'' type target I wanted to get.
Did you look at the ''plain label'' ammo in back of where the h/d hangers were? EEKK something about plainlabel remanufactured ammo messes w/ my spidey sense !!

As for the ammo, I personally stick to factory loads from large manufacturers but just like anything else I guess if you find a reputable vendor for reman ammo (that you trust) you can save some cash.
