I don't want to sound like a curmudgeon but can we rename this thread? She is not a "gift". She is a threat. She may "keep on giving" but there are a finite # of bj's that I can tolerate. We laugh at her but I would bet she will be the Nancy Pelosi of the 2030's. Then we will look back and Pelosi and say what a nice Italian Nonna she was.

Commenters quickly decided the list-making endeavor was something a ruthless Communist dictator would love.“Joseph is proud of you! ” one user wrote, referring to notorious Soviet Union dictator Joseph Stalin. Another person posted a photo of Mao Zedong with the caption: “Big shoes to fill but you’ll get there. ”Ocasio-Cortez received a since-deleted response from an ex-staffer of former President Barack Obama, Michael Simon, who shared a link to a site called The Trump Accountability Project. The site says it aims to embarrass and hold accountable people complicit in the worst behaviors of Trump’s presidency, including his campaign staff, White House staff, donors and even lawyers.“The world should never forget those who, when faced with a decision, chose to put their money, their time, and their reputations behind separating children from their families, encouraging racism and anti-Semitism, and negligently causing the unnecessary loss of life and economic devastation from our country’s failed response to the COVID-19 pandemic, ” the site reads. That is their go to move "accuse the right of doing whatever nefarious move we are in the middle of".

They do that to deflect public attention from their crimes.

And the American people fall for it, over and over again.


The Republicans need to weaponize that. They should have taken the "Russian election interference" thing and run with it.

"Don't let the Russians interfere with another election, demand voter ID"

"Vote by mail is just asking for Russian interference in the election, don't let them do it".

But, instead the Republicans just spent the whole time on the defensive trying to convince the world there wasn't any interference.
