As I have read the reports about the Nevada election laws, the “virtual polling places” in the US Senate election are still open until Monday, November 14, 2022. The “ballot curing” rule for mailed ballots post-marked [?] by Tuesday, November 8, 2022 and “received” by the election officials in each county in Nevada by Saturday, November 12, 2022, is that persons casting mail ballots (meaning: persons who executed ballots outside the laboratory conditions of the polling place), and where mail ballots do not comply with the verification procedures of signature, date etc., are contacted by county election officials to complete (“cure”) the missing verification criteria by Monday, November 14, 2022 to allow the ballot to be included in the vote tally for the US Senate race.
The US Senate candidates eligible to receive Nevada county-by-county ballot totals for the 2022 election include a candidate named “None of these”. As Sundance points out above, this ballot line in the statewide Nevada ballot tally so far has gathered more votes than the spread between the Dem and Rep candidates. I have read reports that Clark County election officials in Las Vegas have identified over 5,000 persons who have cast unverified ballots outside the polling places. This list of the identity of the registered voter whose ballot is granted the privilege of “cure” is distributed to non-profit, community organizations to allow persons other than the eligible voter to “assist” in the ballot verification curing procedures. All such non-polling place ballots may be “cured” by County election officials by Monday, 11/14/2022, and included in the final US Senate election tally. Reports seem to show that only in Clark County is this ballot curing process being used. Other counties have not been identified as having any ballots yet to be “cured.”
These Nevada election laws have been enacted by the Nevada legislature for the 2022 general election. All candidates on the ballot, including I assume “None of these”, are allowed to assist in the ballot curing procedures in each county in the state. Looks to me that the Dems in Clark County are organized and motivated to assist in curing those ballots cast outside the polling places, and identified as failing the verification procedure, to be counted in the final tally. This process has been on-going since before Tuesday, 11/8/2022.
The Cortes-Mastro and Laxalt race has evidently been called for Cortes-Mastro because those supporting Laxalt did not make effective use of the procedures the State of Nevada allows for the verification and tally of ballots that have not been executed in an official polling place. What Constitutional theory of republicanism in the government of the states allows a ballot line in a US Senate election for “None of these”?

We’ve got something for you if you’re looking for irregularities in your local elections. Columbia, New Hampshire. It’s way up north. A tiny little town that, according to the 2020 US Census, had 695 residents. But according to the Secretary of State, Maggie Hassan received 1,106 votes from the same town.The State Website reports Columbia, NH, had 735 residents in 2019. @RealMikeLindell per the state’s website there were 309 total ballots cast in Columbia, NH so these totals make no sense. Is someone going to contact the state department to ask about the discrepancy?

Apparently it was a typo. Hassan received 106 votes in Columbia, NH but it was entered as 1106 in the county's tabulation. The problem is that the error got carried forward into the "official" count.
It seems that the results from these infallible voting machines get funneled into what appears to be a simple spreadsheet. Sure, that makes sense. Murphy's Law of accuracy - measure it with a caliper>mark it with a grease pencil>cut it with an ax.
Simple human error would seem to be a reasonable argument to ensuring election integrity.
That seems like a ridiculous error to make. Sounds like they have 1 person just keying the shit in.
There should be three separate tally sheets made with three separate groups of people, and at the end all three are checked to make sure they match. If they don't match then they need to go back and verify to make sure they get it right. That would eliminate those types of errors.

Assuring that we've gotten it right could help ease tensions, but crap like this fuels the fire.
I may not like the results, but reduce the anomalies by applying some common sense standardization to the stupid election rules (that are all over the map) and I will learn to accept them. I'd guess most people feel this way.
AND get rid of electronic garbage that can be too easily manipulated and relies on an electricalal grid that will eventually go down. Mechanical machines have worked just fine.

Do we need to be United? Can we be divided and prosper with one overarching armed forces but have two sets of rules?
for instance we have the federal tax system as is and the armed services along with some other things, but the governors of states have all the say in laws in the state. No federal laws at all. If Idaho and Arizona wants to make bazookas legal then go move there. If nys wants to ban all guns then leave NYS. I think this untied shot is not all it’s cracked up to be and will be the death of us.
