The Twigster@TheTwigsterHow Did Maggie Hassan Get 1100 Votes in NH Town With a Population Under 700?
We’ve got something for you if you’re looking for irregularities in your local elections. Columbia, New Hampshire. It’s way up north. A tiny little town that, according to the 2020 US Census, had 695 residents. But according to the Secretary of State, Maggie Hassan received 1,106 votes from the same town.
The State Website reports Columbia, NH, had 735 residents in 2019. Columbia, NH’s website says the population in 2010 was 798. Wikipedia cites a decline based on the 2020 census to 695.
How were over 1300 votes cast in a town with a population under 700 at least and under 800 at best?

6 MILLION more Republicans voted, than Democrats! 6 MILLION! We have been cheated on AGAIN!

America used to be the ONE nation that the world could depend on to run fair elections. (Except JFK - Cook County 1960) Now - Democrats have DESTROYED all confidence in our electoral progress - while saying WE are "Destroying Democracy"

Persuasion is to Unity What Coercion is to Conformity
"It doesn’t matter how many voting machines flipped totals in narrow victories, or whether MAGA candidates were sabotaged by The Uniparty or outspent by George Soros, or that the American citizenry has been dumbed down to the point of buffoonery by the federal education system.
Just know this: In U.S. States where voting was secure, like Florida and Iowa, there were red waves by fairly wide margins."
"Regardless of blatant election irregularities in the New Normal, insouciant Americans and the political punditry will believe what they want to believe: that American elections are fair.
Entrenched beliefs are difficult to dissuade and deprogramming minds from hypnotic spells can occur but it is usually a process that takes time. I was once fooled by 911, WMD, and jingoistic wars abroad, so it’s not hard for me to understand how people are so thoroughly deceived. The real tragedy now, however, is that false narratives have fooled enough people, for enough time, that most potential escape hatches have been locked."
That's actually a good question. The data doesn't line up. There were about 300 ballots cast in that town. Population issues aside, how do you total up more votes in total for a race than there were ballots cast? How Did Maggie Hassan Get 1100 Votes in NH Town With a Population Under 700?

Apparently it was a typo. Hassan received 106 votes in Columbia, NH but it was entered as 1106 in the county's tabulation. The problem is that the error got carried forward into the "official" count. That's actually a good question. The data doesn't line up. There were about 300 ballots cast in that town. It seems that the results from these infallible voting machines get funneled into what appears to be a simple spreadsheet. Sure, that makes sense. Murphy's Law of accuracy - measure it with a caliper>mark it with a grease pencil>cut it with an ax.
Simple human error would seem to be a reasonable argument to ensuring election integrity.
Yes it is, especially with the temperament of the country right now. That seems like a ridiculous error to make. Sounds like they have 1 person just keying the shit in.
There should be three separate tally sheets made with three separate groups of people, and at the end all three are checked to make sure they match. If they don't match then they need to go back and verify to make sure they get it right. That would eliminate those types of errors.
Do we need to be United? Can we be divided and prosper with one overarching armed forces but have two sets of rules?Once again - the city vote overwhelms the suburbs and rural vote. This is becoming a problem for the US. Urban culture and suburban/rural culture are vastly different. How can we as a country stay united when big cities continue to dominate elections year after year? How can suburban and rural voters remain placated when we are ruled over by urban elites who do not value our way of life?
So, 50 different countries is what you are advocating.Do we need to be United? Can we be divided and prosper with one overarching armed forces but have two sets of rules?
for instance we have the federal tax system as is and the armed services along with some other things, but the governors of states have all the say in laws in the state. No federal laws at all. If Idaho and Arizona wants to make bazookas legal then go move there. If nys wants to ban all guns then leave NYS. I think this untied shot is not all it’s cracked up to be and will be the death of us.
