The US Constitution Spremacy Clause establishes the federal law is the supreme law of the land. When the president envokes this act, the governors are generally expected to comply with the mandates. Immigration falls under federal jurisdiction in times of national security terms He picked this law because he knew there would be push back. ICE pretty much runs independent of the authorites in different states so if the states won't help ICE will come in and do the job there. This is going to be interesting.

Very easily addressed. Round up all the illegals to be deported from the other 49 states. Give them some nice jewelry (ankle bracelets) and send the 15 million of them to good ol Maura Healey in Mass. Let them know if they cross any state line to leave Mass. they will immediately be sent back to their home country. Also let good ol Maura know, there'll be zero federal funding or any National Guard assistance to the state of Mass. 'if' there's any civil unrest.

Gluten-Free is nonsense but for a small minority.

Please don't be fooled by these county by county maps. While I will agree that urban centers are generally deep blue and the rural areas tend toward the red, there is a sliding scale of purple from blue to red areas. Even living rurally I have noticed some Harris/Walz signs in my AO. Not a lot mind you but they are there. For those who live in more suburban areas I'm sure there is a greater mix of left and right. While it warms the heart to see some suburban Karen/Ken get owned for being a hysterical lunatic, these people are intermixed among us. The last thing we would want is to have an active outing at all. Even in the more rural areas are you ready to jump off with your neighbor down the road, the guy who maybe pulled your wife's car out of a snowbank last winter, over some political affiliation? I am as frosty as the next guy, but I have no desire to see how the civil war/societal collapse compares to the scenarios that we all talk about. I don't want to harm or force my neighbor to flee to the cities anymore than the urban dwelling members here would want to flee their homes to the country. If or when it all goes bad we all will do what we have to do, but I think it will get far messier than we can even imagine.

Our county (Cameron, PA) is pretty rural, and very small. The results were about 75% across the board Republican -
