I guess it does reflect their attitude towards their workers though. They view then as disposable robots right to the end.
If one of their drivers gets murdered for the packages he's carrying, is he classified as "deactivated" too ?

Corporations don't care about your safety. Hell, the company I work for has gone so far as to claim that employees cannot even have a firearm locked in a car in the company parking lot. I'm debating on whether or not to ask the CEO to provide me with his personal guarantee of safety and to affirm that an armed attacker will never be able to access the building, and that the parking lot is totally safe and gunshots will automatically stop and the bullets fall to the ground upon crossing the property line. Amazon specifically? They barely care whether or not they process a return - their attitude is to drop it all and run away, and don't want the negative publicity with the WOKE world if a driver has the temerity to believe their life "matters."

Me too. From the sounds of it he handled his gun appropriately and used only the force necessary to allow him to escape to safely. He also had situational awareness.
With the way packages are today they are high value more over than not. Similar to Brinks handling money. I am surprised that it hasn’t been recommended to carry and to include training.
Some of these delivery trucks have well over $100k on board in packages with everyone buying online. More so during the holidays.
Working in the warehouse is totally different than doing delivery operations where you have no coworkers or warehouse to keep check on things. You are literally out there on your own.

Yup, they don't jam, need reloading, or require a whole lot of training to be effective. Very concealable, work on multiple axis and only limited by range. No wonder Britain is trying to ban them lol

Because he's been "deactivated" he's not even eligible for unemployment benefits. Trucking companies have been doing this for years, they don't lay you off they just rescind your safety certification and don't let you drive, and it starves you out and you quit.

I took one of the tactical med courses posted on here with @Dr. Evil a while back. The videos of knives killing people they showed from police footage was absolutely terrifying. People think a knife isn't too bad. Half the videos of people getting stabbed in the class were people who were on the ground in probably a minute or so after taking a hit, if not less, from the time of the strike without applying some sort of tourniquet to themselves.
You have so little time from the time of a deep strike to react and save your only life, it's insane. Unless you have the tourniquet on you, staged, ready to go -- you may as well have taken a bullet to the head cause you're gone at that point.
