1,000 rounds. Headstamp is the Russian Klimovsok Factory. I understand that they have been producing Russian Military Ammo since the late 1930's.
I purchased it to use in my Russian SKS because it was very favorably recommended to me.
I prefer to sell the case. $420.00 ( 0.42 cents per round )
Also have 500 rounds of brown Bear. $210.00 ( 0.42 cents per round. )
FTF would be most desirable and I am willing to travel some to meet.
I will consider shipping. I will package well and transport the ammo to my local UPS shipping / transfer center which is not located in my back yard.
Buyer pays shipping cost . I will ship at whatever level or mode of shipping buyer prefers via UPS i.e. flat rate, regular ground etc. The weight and dimensions appear to be eligible for the Flat rate shipping.
Buyer decides if they want added insurance and pays the cost. Once the buyer has a tracking number in hand any issues with the shipping are between buyer and UPS.

Brown Bear is 123gr, bi-metal HP, non corrosive .

Location is Saratoga County, about 25 miles directly north of Albany.

We have not firmed up plans as of this date. It is a trip we have been talking about and being retired I could probably go just about anytime.
Of course if I were meeting to deliver the ammo I could go sooner than later.
If you wanted it, are you in a hurry? I would also need to coordinate with the people we would be visiting to make sure the date works for them.
All very doable though. I can be flexible.

Just measured the boxes and got a rough weigh using bathroom scales.
Looks like using UPS simple rate the 500 rounds of the Brown Bear would fall into the medium category and cost $13.90 for shipping.
Klimovsok would be the large category and cost $18.40 for shipping. If anyone would like just 500 rounds of the Klimovosk I will
separate the 1,000 round case into two 500 round boxes and sell it in 500 round lots. That will also reduce shipping to the same as the Brown Bear. ( $13.90 )
I also have 80 rounds of M67 Brass cased ammo on stripper clips in original packaging. Same price as the Brown Bear and Klimosvosk
Looks like that would qualify for extra small simple rate.
Shipping would be $11.50.
I will ship though FTF would be great. As previously stated I will travel some to meet. I can always bring the Admiral along and make it into a little field trip.

My Bad folks. I should have altered this thread.
I have 7.62 X 39 remaining available for sale. However, I arrived in Newfoundland several days ago and will be here until the end of October.
Lots going on in my head jumping through all the hoops required to get to NL because of Covid. Plus, the usual logistics of getting the trip organized and finally getting behind the wheel and on the road.
OF COURSE, there were several inquiries about the ammo while I was en route to and right after I arrived in Newfoundland!!!!!
Those who inquired, check your PM's as I have responded via Forum PM.
Anyone with an interest, I will be happy to work something out when I return.

Soooo, I have been catching up after a week away from the forum. Saw the post about Russian ammo Import. Also see that ammo companies are bombarding my e-mail about it and offering Eastern Bloc ammo at some rather "interesting" prices.
Just want to say right here that I will NOT be trying to ask more for my 7.62 X 39 in an attempt to cash in on an unfortunate situation. That is the Demorats way of doing things. You know, " Never let a good disaster go to waste". Or whatever it is.
Anyone who may be interested in any amounts, small or larger please leave me a PM so that it is date stamped. When I return I will be contacting people in order of the date that they PM'd me.

Time to update this for sale thread I guess.
I have ferry reservations to cross the Gulf on Oct. 20th. Drive home will take 2.5 days after disembarking from the ferry. First couple of days back in NY are a little hectic getting the house opened up, unpacking etc.
I will be sending PM's to those who expressed an interest in the ammo. A couple are local and a couple are a ways from me but I am willing to work with anyone who is serious about purchasing.
It is only fair that I consider those who contacted me first. Having said that it would be nice and positive forum community spirit if I can get some ammo into the hands of any forum member needing it.
If anyone originally contacting me has changed their mind or if circumstances in their lives prevent them from purchasing at this time, I understand and am OK with that. PLEASE do let me know if you are no longer interested so that I can accommodate others who are interested in purchasing some 7.62 X 39.
