Ammo From Bud's?

Has anyone had ammo shipped from Bud's to them/FFL here in NY State? I just finished a "chat" with a rep from Bud's and was told they don't ship ammo to NYS. Doesn't make sense to me since they shipped me a 9MM S&W about 5 months ago. Thanks -

They have probably changed their policy since. As of now, it is noted on their website that they do not ship ammo to NY.

As NY politicians come up with more stupid rules, less and less retailers want to ship to NY (which is what our politicians are probably hoping for.)

Never ordered ammo from Buds before. But a lot of places have stopped doing business in NY due to our stupid ass politicians. I don't blame anyone who says FUNY to customers.

Thanks feller's. As I said above, they shipped my FFL a gun, so why not ammo?!?

@Mk44 could be right, might be a policy change or, whatever. I'll call them Monday and speak with a human instead of that fuk'n "chat" thing. I'll report back with what I find out.

They're not the only ones. I use to buy ammo from SG. They also stopped shipping ammo to NY (period). But they will sell and ship a firearm to a NY FFL.

Welp... I tried calling and got a recording stating no more phone calls. "Chat" only I guess. But surfing the Bud's web site a small window popped up that said they no longer ship ammo to NY State, so I guess that's that.

Gotta love NYS anti gun tactics, making it so miserable for legit sellers that they will no longer ship ammo here. How long will it be before Bud's and other sellers will no longer ship fire arms to NYS? Fuckers...

Thats the goal.....make business so involved with red tape paperwork it wont even be worth it to do business wth NYS retailers..then no ammo or GUNS to NY....since they cant BAN EM...make business such bull its not worth it for dist/manufacturers to do bus with NY...... say like new rules - can only ship in a certain Color of box to FFL or special labels have to be on boxes or something or other stupid to just hurt the industry in NY.....and make em not want to bother!!!!

Good idea but I don't know anyone in PA. I'm located in a small town a little north of Syracuse, about 100ish miles from PA. So I might as well just take a drive to PA and find a gun/ammo shop. Could make for a nice day trip. But before making the drive I'll see if my FFL has suggestions for ammo purchases. Fk'n NY...

TargetSportsUSA.com is one of many many many options who will ship to an FFL of your choice in NYS. There are sooooo many places that will ship ammo here. Just dig a little.

Uhhh…. It’s not a secret that TSUSA is shipping to NYS FFLs for in-person transfers. It’s 100% legal per the CCIA. It’s also legal for other sellers of ammunition to ship to NYS if the recipient is lawfully eligible to receive it, such as Superior Citizens like cops, several categories of FFLs, NYS-licensed Sellers of Ammunition, et cetera.

.380 for now and I'll be looking for some 9MM in the future. I'll check out interweb sources. In the meantime I'll just grab a couple of 50 count boxes locally. I'll also check with my FFL and see what he suggests. Plus I have a nephew who gets ammo from on line sources so I'll pick his brain. I was just surprised that Buds sends guns to NYS, but not ammo. It's like selling a pencil with no lead LOL.

They along with many other sellers will not ship to new Yorkers trying to ship out of state
If they are using a credit card with a new York billing address they won't. regardless of where you try and ship

Doesn’t work like that anymore and they go by billing address. They got worse to that before it even happened. You need to input your billing address in to get your payment to proceed so that’s out the window.

It's pretty easy to change a billing address on a credit card.

I've bought a lot of ammo from Buds but that was before the new round of anti 2a laws and their policy change.

My online ffl is on their list and I see a member from this site too. I also have an out of state wedding this summer, I might as well make something good come from it.
