Carry permits which are now worthless only classified your handguns. The BGCS allows them to determine your rifle collection.
In Albany, someone has a PowerPoint with bullet points (pun intended) of the objectives of the system. We are left to guess what they are.

NO! NO! NO! Bruen SHOULD abolish the carry "permit". It is nothing but a registry. Just because everyone seems to be immune to it does not make it right.
Also, everyone seems to forgt the CCIA has the provision to do MONTHLY bgc on all permit holders. Think it isn't coming? Well, just like the ammo bgc wasn't going to happen.......

I think the court cases are going to win on this one. Forget Bruen, the ammo thing wouldn’t survive the old two tier rule as far it applies to permit holders . If you have a permit for the firearm that takes that ammo, the state ‘s “ need” was already meant under the old rules.
