Don't forget that this stealth waiting period is stage 1. Stage 2 is Letigious James using color of law like she did with "ghost guns" to stop legal trade and interstate commerce with the power of her office and backing of the tax payer dollar in her purse through intimidation and threat of lawsuits to shut down your rights.

Remember that those who legally allowed to possess a partially finished receiver and had the audacity to purchase one before the "ghost gun" law took effect were denied delivery of their shipment if it was caught by the postal service and their legal purchase was returned to the vendor because Letigious James said so.

Explain? What explanation is required?

Is is the continued agency by the State Govt exhibiting malfeasance towards any of it's residents that dare exercise their 2A Rights! The continued militancy in it's actions is clearly evident and transparent for all to see! Leaves little wonder "why" as any rules, edicts, laws, are all designed purely to just be a hurdle, an artificial impediment, for a resident to exercise their Right(s)!

The TWO TIER element ruled Unconstitutional by Bruen is well at work, not sure why State Judges have refused to rule correctly in it, even while proclaiming the State's actions being "Probably" unconstitutional... What the fuck is that? Almost Pregnant???

The biggest problem is the State knows it can issue these rules, edicts and laws with immediacy, while citizens will take years in court to overturn the actions. Couple this with the SCOTUS never exhibiting it's teeth, if it has any, is problematic as well. Prime example is when the SCOTUS allowed NYC off the hook a few years ago when the changed the rules... The Court letting NYC get away with decades of their own malfeasance and intentional cock-blocking to gun owners there...

So NY will do whatever the fuck it wants to fuck over Firearm owners. It will do it with wanton abandon in an envelope of impunity for it's actions! Politicians as well, like the current Governor and her CCIA which came immediately post Bruen! They KNOW there's not a fucking thing YOU can do about it!

See, this confuses me. On my last purchase for my HellCat, I specifically asked about that when I went to pick it up at my LGS. He told me they could put the ammo purchase on your firearm background check but not the other way around as the firearm check is more in depth,(federal), and the ammo check is strictly state. Doesn’t matter to me because I haven’t purchased ammo here since this shit went into effect and never will. When I was there that day, (and I was delayed myself even with a UPIN) , I asked how many people actually get a proceed right away for a firearm and he said about 1 in 5. Most are delayed for a few hours up to 24. Gives them enough time to log everything into their registry

“In the case where a dealer is selling Firearms and Ammunition, do we have to run two separate NICS checks?

  • No, although the Firearms check is run through the NICS(FBI) system, and the Ammunition checks are run through the New York State system, dealers can still select the transaction type (from a dropdown menu) to run both checks in one transaction. The application will split the transaction accordingly to run both checks and provide separate responses.
  • Due to the background checks being processed against different databases it is possible that firearm checks and ammunition checks may receive different responses.”

“How will delayed transactions for Firearms and Ammunition work once NYS is the POC?

  • For Firearms, delayed transactions will work the same as today. If the application needs further review, it will be put into a delayed status. NYS law allows for 30 days to review the transaction and set to Proceed or Denied.
  • After the 30-day period has passed you must rerun the NICS check, then there is an additional 3-day window to receive a response before the dealer can determine if they will sell the firearm to the applicant without a decision.
  • For Ammunition, there is no timeframe associated with ammunition sales per the legislation, a dealer must wait and receive a “Proceed” status in order to complete an Ammunition transaction/sale.”
