Annual Doe Permit Swap

I might want to swap a 9W if someone has a 9P they want to trade. Both areas are tough to get, you basically have to have preference points.

My zones are both relatively easy as long as I put 4F first. For years I thought my other spot was in 3R which is hard to get, but finally found out last year that it is actually just over the border in 3M which is a guarantee even as second pick. Works out great for me.

9P is tough. That's my area too. I was looking for one. I might hunt a few state parks in niagara county. The doe tag is likely up their. Anyone know how much pressure it gets. I don't want to get shot by some one. I was already shot at when I was a kid and stopped hunting for years because of it. 7 slugs over your head puts you off.

I've never hunted them, been to tuscy I can't imagine any place to hunt deer there.
Hit the Alabama swamps, all kinds of deer out there. There is the hartland swamp state land, I go back in there alot. It's right across the road but about 3/4 mile walk across the nieghbors land. You can access it from ditch Rd., Hartland rd or hosmer Rd.
Lots of people the first week of gun, after that not much pressure. Take a compass and use it, it's flat, swampy woods and all looks the same. I can get around it now no problem but the first time I went back there I got turned around, it was an adventure in the dark.
Be prepared to walk, the main part of the land is in the center of the block, ditch and hosmer just have right of way to get in. Hartland rd has a parking area and the state land comes out to the Rd but most of the Rd frontage is swamp, you may be able to get around in spots depending on how much rain and how tall are your boots.

Thanks for the help. I've never been to either of them, but have been meaning to. I wanted to go this weekend, but the wife had other plans so I didn't make it out there.
