I don't know. I don't think this is the usual suicide by cop, though. If this was an isolated incident, maybe. But this is twice in around two months, and everyone's (cops, news, etc) are being too vague, or more to the point, not telling the whole story. If one were to take the local's objective opinion, there's most likely a correlation of the two incidents, and in some way linked to the changes in presidency and how the left are actually calling people to do things like this. I don't wear foil on my head or have vested stock in any company who manufactures tin, but I'd be inclined to agree with them. I don't/won't buy the two aren't related. The first guy was finally caught in Malta after the shooting incident took place at the Saratoga Springs police station, and this incident from yesterday was actually in Malta.
Or maybe it is SBC, and the gangs are thinning the ranks in their following of the lefts call for violence. I fully believe the latter part of that, but I'm not sold on the first, as the original shooter isn't dead.

I agree, a criminal removed that won't take up tax dollars. But, I'm getting to where I'm not fully buying the mental health stuff much anymore. I mean, anyone who sets out to shoot others can't be OK in the head. But, I'm starting to think part of it's a cover up. We have everyone from social media stars to top ranking political democrats calling for this stuff. They sure aren't going to accept responsibility when some jackwad or wadette goes out and actually commits these acts. So they need a patsy exuse.
