Another new blade, on the opposite spectrum from the last one

This is the best model Kershaw offers,
US made with Sandvik's wonderful 14c28n.
Unique to Kershaw this is a Swedish stainless "razor" steel. It has excellent corrosion resistance and takes a lightsaber edge, edge retention is decent too. In all it is the best steel to be had at the sub $50 level. It is mounted on phosphor bronze washers and G10 scales with a liner lock.
It is feather light.
This blade is the best EDC knife for the money, period.

Nice, thin, light. Good blade steel. I am a big fan of kershaw and their upscale ZT line. Only brands I carry. I used to be a CRKT fan for the "bang for the buck" but they got loose and the liner locks got sloppy. I'm surprised I haven't seen this yet, but like firearms I have too many , so I've not been paying attention as much. Might have to get me one of these, and get the CF scales if i like it enough to put in the dresser box. You can de-spring them if you are concerned about legality, no comment. Some guys even do that live in free states.

EDIT- can't carry tip up (and out) for a lefty. dealbreaker for me . dang it!

Since i carry my work knife in NYC and i needed a non locking blade.
so i went with the Amazing Spyderco UK penknife.

In this case its Amazon's ignorance that is at fault. Perfectly legal to ship this knife into NY with the possible exception of NYC. I am not versed in the oppression of the Urban Gulag, nor do I wish to be.
