According to published reports from earlier this week, a Forth Worth man died after demonstrating the safety on his handgun to a friend. His demonstration included pointing the pistol at his own head and pulling the trigger. So far though, the 911 caller's tory has not been confirmed. While the part about the guy having been shot dead was apparently true, I imagine the police will be investigating whether or not the guy actually shot himself or had help from another person. After another recent thread in which muzzling became an issue, I have to wonder if anyone in these forums would have thought it okay to have muzzled himself and even pulled the trigger, while doing such a demonstration with the handgun, had he unloaded it first!
