I get why people do it, but frankly, unless it's truly egregious, if you "boycott" everything then you'll never be able to enjoy a product or service of any sort.
The only things I will actually boycott are things like what dicks has done. It's not, oh we had a deal with some people and they've gone rogue, that's, I genuinely don't care about your rights and want them gone. This is whatever. There's a market for it and a business has gotta make money. I'm not gonna boycott random sponsors and affiliates of someone simply because they are associated with some ass holes, only if they agree and pursue the fucknut's causes.
A) haven't been to a Dick's in years, there's WAY better sporting goods outlets out there B) stopped watching the NFL (after 49 straight years) when the multi-millionaires started kneeling because they have it so rough- and C) last night my gf and I by consensus cancelled out NetFlix subscription. They can hire who they want, we can choose to spend our money how we want. I don't care if it makes any difference to Netflix, I don't want our money funding propaganda films.
If you boycott Netflix, are you going to boycott your internet service provider too? Dollars to donuts says that they are flamings liberals. Your TV is probably built by a company that isn't progun as well.
For us, it's all about choices @Willjr75. The Obama involvement wasn't the sole driving force, just icing on the cake. We gave up cable tv/internet years ago, too expensive for what you get. That is EXTRA money that goes into savings account instead, to buy home renovations/remodels, vehicles and acreage for cash. No plastic. The $11/mo. buys gas for the mower for a month, or a couple steaks for the grill, or an 18 pack of beer. $11/month x 12 months=$132, buys a Timney trigger or Leupold Alumina scope caps and lens shade for my rifles, which honestly I'd much rather have. I personally could care less if I ever watched tv again.
