Recent graduate currently pursuing a career in journalism. Motivated by a desire to improve the world and the stuff on it. He is currently an intern for McClatchy D.C. where he covers the California Congressional delegation and issues affecting the Golden State. Prior to that, he worked as an intern for the Sacramento Bee covering California politics and policy out of the Bee’s Capitol Bureau. He enjoys writing about legislation, policy and the people affected by both.
Anshu holds a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of Southern California. While at USC, he was the editor of the university’s newspaper, the Daily Trojan, and a Trojan Knight. He was also an intern in the Scottish Parliament while studying abroad at the University of Edinburgh.
