Seriously though, these people don't really have standing. They aren't here legally. At least we give them a meal and help them get home. But that home isn't here unless you come through the legal way. Respect the rules and follow the laws and I have no problem.

I like how you think, but that could damage infrastructure. The idea is to remove the illegals without destroying the area they are residing in.
Sounds like anyone who is injured by an illegal can now sue the LA/State government for civil rights violations under color of law resulting in injury/death. Massively increased penalties (ie: more $$$) and gov officials can be locked up.

I believe the weapon you are looking for is an "enhanced radiation" nuke.
Detonated at a high enough altitude that the blast doesn't destroy the infrastructure, but with an immediately lethal dose of radiation.
Back in the 80s they were even looking at nuclear pumped X-ray lasers.
Put that in a disposable satellite and Musk can put them I orbit by the thousands.

Could literally sterilize entire neighborhoods without damaging anything but the film.
