Any Canik owners-new optics ready version for under $650

Been think about a gun in the 3.5” range and saw this in my email today. Seems fairly interesting.
I don’t know much about Canik but price seems right, has interchangeable back straps, size seems right(a bit thick at 1.45”) and comes optics ready.
Do I need optics probably not but for $600-$650 thay doesn’t seem too bad.

Have thought about the sig 365 too. It seems a shame I can shoot my LCPII more accurate then my larger Springfield gun.

1.45 is a bit wide by today's standards. My slide is going out to be milled for a dot in the next few weeks. It's starting to look like optics will be the norm in the coming years.

I nearly bought a sig 229 legion with Romeo 1 dot until I started doing some optic research and can tell you that if it's going to be a carry gun and not a range only gun then you want a quality dot, and there are only a few. Holosun 507c at the low end, better yet the 508t. They both use an rmr footprint. Then you have the Leupold deltapoint pro, and the rmr type 2. I wouldn't waste money with anything else.

I surely thought the same about the width of the gun. I don’t know why they would do that.

It goes like this

Trijicon RMR or Holosun 507c 508T (no particular order, preference really) and I'm sure the 407? Which is the 507 just no circle option around the dot is the same quality as the 507 just a few bucks less, and I'm sure for the slim boys the ew 507K will live up to the previous holosun models

Or

Aimpoint ACRO or Holosun 509T (looks like the 509 may be the overall better option) if you want a closed emitter

Then lastly if you just dont want the better options mentioned above DPP

A couple of observations
1) it looks alot like a Springfield Hellcat
2) after comparing the Holosuns and the Sig Romeos THEY look identical
3) if the triggers on this new Canik are anything like their larger brothers, they will kick the snot outta the H Cats and give the Sigs a run for their money
4) with few exceptions (Lorcins, Bryco,etc) it's tough to buy a crap gun nowadays. Yup, some are more refined than others, but the Caniks are actually quite nice for a Turkish gun.

I own and carry, on a regular basis, a Sig 365, Glock 43, 19, Beretta LTT 92, Smith and Wesson 1911SC, and a Colt Gunsite CCO. I would have no problem with a Canik (after a proper break in).
