Any city/county that has a city ordinance like NYC?

As the title reads, are there any other cities/counties with ridiculous laws like NYC in the state?

I plan on carrying my new pocket knife with a 4 inch blade and just want to avoid over zealous enforcement.

I'm in the Buffalo area.

If by the law you are referring to the "gravity knife thing", that is a statewide law. Enforcement in your county may vary.

I understand the state penal code but was more curious about city ordinances like the blade length and conceal carry of the knife.

There are all sorts of weird ones out there. For instance, not knife related, but you can’t have a B.B. or pellet gun shipped to Buffalo NY. There very well might be some city rulings and you would have a really hard time finding them honestly. Good luck, but carry on, literally.
