Just as the title ask's, anyone have a good source for bulk salt either iodized or sea salt? I've seen some vender's on ebay with 25lb or 50lb bags, but I thought I'd ask here. Thanks!
What ya doing with it?
Mostly thinking for the preservation of meat. Plus just daily use that we all take for granted..What ya doing with it?
LMAO, you guys can all fuck off, haha, I just wanna live when the power goes out.My question exactly! I smell a hydronic-fusion bomb in the near future.

I do believe Bush drove that saying into the ground hard, lolJust like Iraq needed plutonium for water filtration.....fool me once my friend.
I went to their website and searched "salt" and nothing (maybe I'm just doing it wrong). I don't own a restaurant so I doubt they will want to deal with me anyway. Bulk salt, how hard is this to find? Really? We should all be concerned about it as salt is essential for survival and long term food preservation.Sysco ? Foods would deliver one of those 4x4 cubed sacks to a friend, we used it to salt down deer hides after processing until the buyer came.
Wegmans has 25lb bags last time I looked. So is this a dangerous question to ask? My intentions are survival, long term meat preservation and nothing malicious. I did notice that Walmart had 25lb bags of flour but when it came to salt, they only have the usual household packages, nothing which could be considered bulk.
I have bought a 25 pound bag at walmart before
To late. You've been put on alphabet list.So is this a dangerous question to ask? My intentions are survival, long term meat preservation and nothing malicious. If you're serious, I can source you a 1,250lb pallet of rock salt.
I wish I could afford and have room for a pallet. I'm in an apartment so I don't have the space. If you're serious, I can source you a 1,250lb pallet of rock salt.
I wish we had Wegmans around here.Wegmans has 25lb bags last time I looked.
Three weeks ago I purchased 40lb bags of Morton pool salt for less then $6 each. Now it looks like it is $4.60 for 40lbs. I don't know if I would eat it directly but it might be ok for preserving meat?
Water softener salt I bet, it's food grade, and you can get it at walmart (at least the rural ones).Where did you get this from?
