Any New SAFE firearm restrictions coming our way in 2021 ?

While visiting family in SC I went with my brother to the local range/shop. We purchased some of their goods. I even had a great discussion with the gentleman working the counter I think he was the owner. He was Also running for county sheriff and couldn't believe how crazy NY laws were that I was telling him about. He thanked me for my business and support. Free America.

This is very similar to all my “free America” encounters.

Absolutely some sort of all encompassing "ghost guns" bill will pass as this was endorsed by the "gun lobby" and nobody is speaking out against it.

Also some sort of dealer/manufacturer liability thing is cooking.

i was in Tennessee in september, driving around with my car that had NY plates to all the ammo/gun stores buying ammo. One place when buying ammo asked for my ID and i showed him my NY drivers license. He looked at me and said "oh you poor thing" and laughed about how NY has no freedoms. Didnt have any issue with my purchasing anything.

Even went to a place across the border in PA, just right over the bridge near port Jervis. Asked about buying a 30 round even if i was in NY. Guy said "we dont care what you buy because we sell legal things, regardless of where you live or what you do with it after you leave here, we dont care".

I’ve been to many gun shops in free America, including PA, NH, OH, RI , MI, ETC, and not once have I’ve been turn away because I live in NY. In fact , it’s quite the opposite. When you are in that state, whatever is legal there, is legal for you to possess as long as your there. What and where you go/do with it is your responsibility, and they know that. ASK ME HOW I KNOW.

When purchasing a firearm out of state, Federal law dictates that an FFL cannot sell you a firearm that is not legal in your state of residence.

I'm pretty sure if a gun store in PA sees you pull in with NY plates they will have you trespassed. They are just as scared of Cuomo as people in NY.

I think he was referring to privately owned body armor. That is also in one of their bills. You can not buy nor own nor possess previously legally purchased body armor

You're buying something in that state that is perfectly legal there. Nothing wrong with that.

Not to mention, 95% of the products in that store are legal in NY too.

It's not like the only thing Gander Mountain sells is adjustable stocks and 30 rnd mags.

Hell, even if they pass their "no home gunsmithing" BS, keep buying your parts in PA and just install them before you cross the border.
