Any thoughts on this 12 gauge #2 shot?

I have not seen much #2 shot 12 gauge shells for sale anywhere. Is there a reason for this? Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this size shot? It would be used for target/plinking and generally blowing stuff up. It's about 26 cents a shell.

Those are BB size duck/geese load.
They are good on coyote, fox and smaller pests at close range too.

Goose or duck loads. Steel is everywhere but #2 lead very hard to find.
