To imagine what it would look like, think NYC in the 60s-70s.The riots have'nt even begun yet. Between the cost of living and doing business, excessive taxes, and the safety issues which will arise by Nov. the flight from New York is going to nose dive. Taxes will have to be increased next year and services and jobs will have to be cut to make up for the losses which will lead to even more flight from the communist shithole. By this time next year I wouldn't be surprised to see the population shrink from 8 million to 6-7 million or even less. I cant imagine what that city would look like when the wealthy leave.
I do think the city will recover. I don't think it will be quick (years, maybe decades), and the longer the lockdown lasts, the longer the recovery will take. Investment in it would be a good idea, I think, as long as you can tolerate the stench and will make enough money to cover the taxes until you can realize the investment.
