Anyone else feel like they are setting up gun owners?

With all these seemingly meaningless/common sense gun laws being passed to the outsider I feel like we are really being set up big time.
Red flag laws will lead to guns being taken away and tons of money being spent to get them back. Many will be broke or say forget it I have to feed my family.
Safe storage laws and laws on reporting stolen guns will lead to a confiscation order at some point on AR-15’s then you won’t be able to say I don't know what happened to my AR-15 because it should be in a safe or reported stolen within 24 hours of it happening.
Ammo limits will get some people if passed and now the safe storage law makes it illegal to let your kids shoot so that will get some people.
I feel like they are making it on very straight legal line for gun owners and if you stray from that you will be arrested and loose your gun rights.
Thoughts? Am I crazy?

No, you are not crazy. Make enough thing a crime and eventually they will trip you up on something. They are quite clear in the goal, no firearms for civilians, period.

I meant they have seriously ramped it up this year and it seems like they are setting up way more “innocent” traps for us.

You think it's bad now... Just wait until the psycho left has all 3 branches. It will happen sooner or later. Even worse if they somehow find a way to pack the SCOTUS with more justices (13 for argument sake) and proceed to load it with young liberal activist judges.

They will stop the charade and buzzphrase of talking about "common sense" and they will full jump the shark talking about bans on necessity and no need to have weapons of war in our homes. It will get bad and it will be at a national level.

While I agree I’d like to see someone file suit, second if like to see the SC(shitty court) take the case. Also it wouldn’t surprise me if they give nys a green light. The heller v DC went much further. All I know is we are stuck with storage laws for some time now. Mine are locked up because I have kids except for a wall hanger, but it would surprise me if I was arrested for that. No ammo and no powder in the house.
